On Thursday 1st August I went with my PROBUS Group to the RNLI Training College at Poole. It was a most interesting visit, and I was particularly excited when we went into the Simulator Gallery.We had the experience of being on the rescue vessel going to the assistance of the burning tanker. Although we were assured that the floor remained level, the movement of the boat, the waves and the spray was VERY realistic!
