Visit to the NEC, Birmingham

Spent a very enjoyable - but very tiring - day yesterday, visiting 'FOCUS on Imaging' at the NEC, Birmingham.

Lots of lovely goodies on show, but all I bought was a second-hand flash-gun for £5 from the Disabled Photographer's Stand! Very little to photograph there, but I did take a couple of pictures on my digital compact, shown below.

The young lady was frantically dancing to very loud music, but she was moving so fast it was difficult to get her in focus!  The other shot was taken a few minutes after arriving. This chap was painting a mural - he is Simon Whitcomb from Southsea

I checked my diaries and I appear to have been going to FOCUS since 1996 and I don't think I have missed a year!
