Had my friend Margaret Hodge FRPS staying with me for a few days and on Tuesday I took her to Clevedon and Portishead. When we arrived at Clevedon promenade there was a dense sea mist and we could not see the beach or the Pier. After about 35 minutes the mist cleared a little so I took the first picture - 15 minutes later I took the second picture.
We had to wait another 15 minutes before the mist completely cleared and the pier was revealed in all it's splendour!
We moved on to Portishead Marina and I couldn't resist taking this sculpture which we thought should have been title "Conversation piece"
